Great game from Mashack, scored 13 points 7 rebounds, 4 assist and 1 steal...was a big part of why Tre Johnson only scored 11 points on 3-8 shooting (and 4 of his points were at the line) he also had 3 turnovers. Shack put the clamps on 'em

Playing 35 minutes (lead the team) and doing all he did Shack could also get the nod.

Very good game from Igor despite getting put on 2 posters. 12 points on 4 of 10 shooting, 7 rebounds 3 blocks and 2 steals in his 31 minutes.

Seems like there's this weird Chaz one half ZZ one half dynamic with this team last several games. Ideally balance would be best so opposing defenses don't just lock down one dude. Mashack was a beast this game and his energy got a tone of second chance points

That was a solid win. Texas played very well and made alot of tough buckets but we consistently responded whenever they got it close and maintained the lead for virtually the entire game. Nicely done Vols. Now beat Auburn!

Tennessee has more balanced scoring at this point. They're not depending on just one guy. They have had some worrisome defensive lapses lately. This conference is a pretty tough out just about every night so not too worried.

This team scored 83 points today. Clean up the defensive lapses and turnovers, shoot a little better from the FT line and this is a 25 point game going away.

Officiating and point shaving allegations is not limited to basketball. It is every much as prevalent in football and baseball.
And basketball is the best sport with the best overall athletes. Period.

Jesus, we had Phillips blatantly foul a three point shooter for no reason toward end of game. Guy proceeded to hit all three.
I guess we need to investigate Phillips for a nitwit foul .

Cade shouldn’t have jumped but that should not have been called a foul. The shooter jumped to his left to initiate the contact which is no longer a foul because it was not a natural shooting motion.

It's all about who you draw. Vols get called for a lot of fouls. That's one thing to watch in the NCAA's. How they call these games will be big.
