I'm real real tired of seeing Tennessee make average QBs look good, and above average QBs look amazing. Not a Heupel thing, either, we've done it for decades.

I know we're not the only ones who do that, but damn if it doesn't feel like we're the experts sometimes.

True, we got it handed to us, but we were at least there. Alabama wasn’t. Ole Miss wasn’t.

Some of us see Heupel as an above average coach who can turn a program around and be a 10 win guy. This has been a lifesaver for the program obviously. Someone on here said Richt lite and I'd take that in a heartbeat because at least he won the SEC. I'm worried about being a playoff bubble team every year for several years before I'm worried about moving on from Heupel. He's also been ahead of the game with NIL.

I said Richt light . . . Because I see CJH as winning more than not . . . 8-4 / 9-3 / 10-2 guy . . . But not an SEC title guy.

But I think he is the best coach we can get and a very good coach. In no way do I think he should be fired . . . Unless he has back to back losing seasons.

His assistants? Different story. Oline guy isn’t getting it done. Martinez is a joke and has been for a long time. Banks . . . Meh.
