The Official #9 Tennessee @ #8 Ohio State Game Thread, 8:00 PM ET, ABC/ESPN

Ohio State alum. First, kudos to Tennessee fans for showing up at the Old Horseshoe on a cold night and supporting their team. Y'all were visible and loud -- well done. Second, your QB is going to be really, really good next season -- especially if he gets some difference makers at WR. Finally, tonight was Ohio State's night. I watched Tennessee a few times this season. The Vols are better than they showed tonight; something was off. All Buckeye fans were hoping Day would coach aggressively like he did against Georgia in the CFP a few seasons ago, and fortunately the offense utilized the downfield pass this game. BTW, the only one to shut down WR Jeremiah Smith all season was Ryan Day / Chip Kelly.

Good luck next season, especially against Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

tOSU clearly the better team tonight. Curb stomped and our team looked like they didn’t even want to be there. No fight, no energy, just going through the motions. Nico showed a lot of heart, but clearly not enough to make up for the rest of the roster.

This wasn’t going to be an easy game, no matter what anyone said. But to come out and play like this? Just unacceptable any way you look at it. A lot of people deserve answers but somehow I doubt we will get any or any meaningful changes.

The tell tale on where we are is in one stat. Heupel is known for his quick offense. You heard earlier that we aren’t even in the top 20 with a play every 24 seconds or so. This is telling in so many levels.

We officially don't get to talk any sh@t to Ohio State football until we redeem this spanking. Not a word.
I never did, loaded roster coming off the Michigan loss. Tenn has been bipolar and soft on the road all season.

I was hoping for a respectable effort in a loss.

This is just pathetic and nauseating

8 million well spent. At least everybody got some beats headphones.

Not sure if you saw the news, but there was story out there earlier this week that the number was more like $10 million.

In the old days, I would say-meh it's not my money. The problem is, now a VERY small % of that $10 million from Spyre was passed from me to the collective to Nico.

Sometimes I wonder if any of its worth it. All this NIL crap. Perhaps we should just be a no NIL school. Sometimes I think it might be better to absolutely suck and go 0-12 each year but have a team that is in Knoxville for the right reasons and not just because we wrote the biggest check.

This program is so far away. Just blown off the field. The preparation, game plan, adjustments, speed, athleticism. We look like what the Big 10 used to be when they played teams down south. Slow and ploding. I'm not sure we finished with pride. We have done nothing in the 2nd half.
We have will brooks and telender. These kids are tough but that’s not going to
Cut it against elite teams. We have slow dudes out there
