Second game is 7 innings tomorrow
I was thinking about this last night and I believe you are correct. We don't have enough arms in the back of the bullpen, yetLosing Leath was devastating for this club. Right now it appears CTV trusts 4 guys in the pen when it matters.
1. Sewell
2. Walsh
3. Connell
4. Hunley
That isn’t enough weapons to get us where we want to go. Going forward, I believe Frank & Tony have to get McLaughlin and Housley in the fire. Both those guys can sling it 92-95 for 1 inning at least. That is all you need from a bullpen arm in games like last night. IMO we have to use our crafty lefties wisely and in certain matchups but ultimately we need what other SEC teams have in their pens which is gas. Then hand it off to Hunley in the 9th.
I would like to see the filling arms in the pen ready to go when called on.
1. Sewell (RHP 88-91)
2. Walsh (LHP 86-89)
3. Connell (LHP 86-89)
4. Hunley (RHP 89-92)
5. Housley (RHP 91-94)
6. McLaughlin (RHP 91-94)
7. Sechrist (LHP 87-90)

Hunley moves into a starting role and that allows that slot to go longer than Heflin. Just switch them out
