The Official Chicago Cubby Bears Thread

The reality is this. The stadium sucks, the fans suck and their beer (Old Style) sucks and the ownership sucks. Cub fans get exactly what they deserve. A century of being losers.

He was a stop gap, and I'm pretty sure he knew this.

Hoping for Girardi, but I think it's unlikely.

There's a good chance I will be seeing the Dodgers play the Cubs at Wrigley this year. Is Wrigley a good place for a game? The ground itself seems stunning and steeped in history, but how are the fans? Is it a hostile environment? Can I wear Dodger gear and be safe?

Wrigley is one of the best places to watch a game period. It's unlike any stadium you've ever seen. It feels like a neighborhood park and from behind home plate it looks like you can reach put and touch the outfield wall.

The fans are laid back ....but don't venture into the outfield bleachers wearing Dodger gear.

No WS or even a WC until that idiot Ricketts sells the team

What? How are the Ricketts idiots?

The Cubs have gone from the next to last farm system to a top 3 farm system in 3 years. They're building the team the right way. Get a clue, man.

Cool thanks.

This. We have six of the top 50 prospects in the farm system. Alas we need a pitching prospect with an impact arm.

I agree. I'm high on CJ Edwards though. I think he's going to be a good one. Pierce Johnson has potential as well.

Edwards, Soler, Almora, and Bryant will all be with the Smokies this year. They're going to be stacked.
