Other than the other two, I don’t think Denton will come close to doing what Trey did at 3rd base, both with the bat and the glove. I do believe this team will be better overall, at least offensively. What Drew Gilbert did offensively is insane.

Below are a couple of pictures of the new lockers for the players. Hope to have a pic or two of the weight room sometime soon. Some asked about arm fatigue (specifically with Drew Beam) in last night's chat. Arms are good. Beam is good. They shut him and some others down midway through fall just to rest. Beam in particular, hadn't pitched in two years prior to last season, so they were extra careful with him. Also, I've been told third layer of the party porches is a go for this season. Believe Tony even mentioned that at the First Pitch Banquet last week.

You can scratch Stanwich as he’s taking a semester off for personal reasons and will likely rejoin the team next Fall. Crowded OF just became a little less crowded.

I really hope 2 things happen in 2023:
1) dead period for recruiting implemented from start of postseason until it ends. Meaning ZERO on campus visits or contact or commitments from portal or otherwise. Don’t need the distractions for players and coaches.
2) MLB draft is held well after postseason / CWS ends.

EDIT: MLB draft is 7/9/23 so it will be well after CWS.

20 more days till first pitch! Inside three weeks. It getting close. Today we’ll recognize @preacherman20 cause why not? Having an insider close to the action has been invaluable to the forum. I want to express my gratitude for keeping us between the lines and focused on the perspective from the players side of issues that have popped up over the past few years. His mere presence is a blessing.
