The Official Countdown To Tennessee Baseball 2024 (ITS GAMEDAY)

Yes, but if this includes run producing sac flies and it’s still negatively correlated overall, I think one could surmise that sac bunts are at best equal to the total correlation of all sac “hits” and likely more negatively correlated since they’re typically done to simply move a runner over and rarely used to manufacture runs.
So, we don't know the correlation between "bunt attempts for base hits" and winning. Someone who is good at bunting can use those skills to get on base. It's a lost art now.

Wish they’d scheduled Tennessee to play Oregon and Nebraska. Why would they schedule Tennessee to play Baylor and Oklahoma instead of Oregon and Nebraska when Tennessee just played Baylor and Oklahoma the last time they were in this event just 2 years ago? Especially with OU joining the SEC. Seems stupid.

I think it is Big 12 vs the other conferences... could be wrong (i wuz wrong one other time back in the 60's)

Is this the only way to watch these games? No ESPN Plus?

“Maybe if they take out “first” and just put round draft picks I might have a shot.”

Dang near spit out my drink 😂
He is that way...He does not give himself a pat on the back for his accomplishments, even though I think it is pretty incredible that he received a call in the 10th round. Considering the thousands of kids available and only 614 drafted, we are super proud and thrilled he is a happy senior at Tennessee ⚾🧡

Guys like him and Kirby crack me up. They are why baseball is so great…with so many games played, the personalities can’t hide and shine through.

As just a fan and an alum, I’m selfishly glad he’s still around and thrilled he represents my school and I’m sure yall are over the moon as parents. Yall clearly did a good job letting him be who he is.

Today we honor VFL Legend and MLB Hall Of Famer: Mr. Todd Helton. Helton played QB at Tennessee and played multiple roles for Tennessee Baseball. Helton's No. 3 jersey was retired by the Vols on Jan. 30, 2008. Helton spent 17 years with the Colorado Rockies organization, and as the club’s longest-tenured player, he was a five-time All-Star, four-time Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger Award winner and three-time Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner. At the time of his retirement in 2013, Helton held Rockies career records for games played (2,247), runs (1,401), hits (2,519), doubles (592), home runs (369), RBI (1,406), walks (1,335) and extra-base hits (998). He also ranked 16th all-time among Major League players in doubles (592), 19th in OPS (.953), 35th in walks (1,335) and 37th in extra-base hits (998). On Aug. 7, 2014, Helton became the first player in Rockies history to have his jersey No. 17 retired at Coors Field.
