fair enough, I just heard several guys on espn say they played the popularity card and I figured you would agree... guess not
I'm just glad Jr. wheeled it to a top 5 finish with a little help with pit strategy and people running out of gas. If he wants to win a championship that's how its got to be done, being consistent
based on the results so far this year, it's hard to fault the guy. i'm probably his biggest critic, but that team has been solid all year. yeah, maybe they've missed on a couple late race adjustments, but maybe somebody else hit on theirs.
It never seems to matter what stage of the race it is, he won't take a chance....It's like coming in with 40 laps to go to top off with gas, next caution he'll say come on in fill it up we got enough to make it 50 laps, we need enough to make 80....Eury has done decent so far this season but he needs to gamble a little bit more, that's why Jr. hasn't won a race yet, that and he's just not had the car at the end...JMOFor once thier late race strategy paid off, one of the few times they gained positions after the last pit stop.
