Detroit Lions Announce 'One Pride Blue Out' for Monday Night Football

DETROITIn celebration of Monday Night Football at Ford Field, the Detroit Lions have announced a One Pride Blue Out for Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.
In conjunction with their broadcast partners WXYZ Channel 7 and 97.1 The Ticket, the Lions ask fans throughout the state of Michigan to participate in the Blue Out by wearing blue apparel all day on Monday. Companies and schools are asked to encourage their employees and students to participate.
Fans attending the Monday Night Football game at Ford Field are also asked to wear blue.
Participating fans can show their support by posting photos to social media with the hashtag #OnePride. These photos will have a chance to be featured in-game on video boards, as well as DetroitLions.com and team social media channels.
Fans coming to the game, or non-ticket holders looking for a place to gather in downtown Detroit, are invited to Pride Plaza on Brush presented by Bud Light between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. This free event will include live music, entertainment and Lions alumni. Guests can purchase drinks from the Bud Light Build-A-Bar and food from local food trucks including Treat Dreams, El Guapo, The Mean Weenie and others.
