The Official Detroit Pistons Thread

I don't know if SVG is going to do it, but the smart play will be to go with Morris/Illyasova at the 4 completely and let Johnson/Bullock handle the 3 spot. Betting spacing, more athleticism, better defense all around and Morris fits better as a 4 anyway. Bullock can shoot it, Johnson brings the D and athleticism.

I'd probably go with something like this rotation wise.

PG- Jackson 36/Dinwiddie 12
SG- KCP 30/Meeks 18
SF- Johnson 30/Bullock 18
PF- Morris 30/Ilyasova 18
C- Drummond 33/Baynes 15

Looking forward to this season.

I thought the last two years Detroit was going to make the playoffs and they weren't even close. They won't this year, but at least there is a direction that we are seeing with this team and a lot of young guys with potential.

We are 3-0. We've beaten two of the top three teams from the East.

We might be good.

Pistons beat the Suns in Phoenix 100-92 to start the season 4-1

5 straight double-doubles for Dre. Last Piston to have 5 straight to start the season was Bill Laimbeer in 1986-87.

Pistons Defense looks great.

I'm pretty impressed so far. This road trip will say a lot.

Once Jennings comes back to help with the bench, this could be a playoff team.

Drummond has 10 boards. In the first quarter.

Sadly, him and KCP are the only ones that bothered to show up tonight.

Terry Stotts is an underrated coach. This Blazers team moves the ball incredibly well and really is tough to guard.

Someone check Andre Drummond's birth certificate. He's not human.

I'm sure anyone here can guard the perimeter better than Steve ****ing Blake

The Pistons were down 92-79 to start the fourth quarter.

They won 120-103.

I saw the game and can't believe I just saw that.

Drummond just had 29/27 on 14-19 shooting with 2 steals and 3 blocks.

There are glaring deficiencies. This team is not a Finals team. But my God I love how hard they freaking play.

Lulz, Drummond just retweeted Dorell Wright saying he (Drummond) should average a 20/20 for the next few years. No chill.
