That was the year Doh played the shot clock version of 4 corners vs Duke in the ACC Tournament in Charlotte. I was at that game and almost fell asleep.

It’s the NCAA forum. A lot have participated in this thread going on at least 3+ years now. If you don’t like it don’t click on it and read it. Maybe don’t comment on the Army/Navy game. how about that?

Surely you can see the difference between a single Army Navy game and rooting for another team all together.

It’s not another team for me. I grew up 5 minutes from campus, my parents had season tickets and were donors to Duke University, I was a ball boy for the ‘91&’92 National Title teams, hell I dated one of K’s daughters in high school (no bull****). I was there when Capel hit the half court shot, the same game where Stackhouse dunked all over Eric Meek, I’ve seen it all. I’ve rebounded for Shaq, Chris Weber, Grant Hill, Christian Laettner, Eric Montross etc.. many great all time greats, so I do have an allegiance to Duke. That said, my first allegiance is to the University of Tennessee, my Alma Mater.

Well said, and that's the thing that pisses me off. You, nor I, nor anyone else owes anybody any explanation for who we root for.

Duke and UNC both squeak out tough wins at home vs conference opponents. Bagley with 32&20, kid is unreal.

FSU always gives us fits. Any W against them is a good one in my book.

Bagley was 13-17 from the field. Insane.

I had a couple of beers with Hansbrough last year during the NFL playoffs at a bar in Durham, hanging out with a mutual friend. He was nice a enough guy, a little socially awkward, but overall a good guy.

Tennessee.
Why do you care? Tennessee is my priority, but as I’ve stated, I do care about Duke. I have history there, connections and friends that work on Cut’s staff. When we played Duke for homecoming in 2003 I was in Neyland with my orange on.
