Not here to argue that but this was a concept introduced over 100 years ago. People just get bent out of shape. You can either get upset about the rules or accept them and move on. MLB has dug their heels in so NCAA has to follow their lead. My advice would be to not allow it to affect you and learn to play with the rules in place.
