I think it's working out well for both parties. I really like DG. I hated to see him go. He wanted to be at SHR. I guess once the decision was made early on there was no going back.

Yep, he had to be disappointed that he didn't win or wreck trying though. BK was smart in trying to break the draft up in turn 3. Wouldn't have been able to do it if they didn't have such a big lead though.

I have to agree. A classic example of moving a driver up the ranks too fast IMO. The second he turns 18, they throw him in a Nationwide car, and then quickly move him to Cup before he has enough experience.

He wouldn't be if Edwards had wanted it last year. This will prob be his last year in it. I don't see Home Depot sitting on their hands for another year if Lagono doesn't win a few and/or make the chase. Not a huge list of free agents to fill it though. Gibbs has the $$ to buy somebody out if he has to.

Also rumor I've heard is Newman is also a free agent too. Not to many options right now at least.

I don't really see Home Depot getting excited over any of those guys. Kurt has the ability, but doesn't have the mental stability. Brian Vickers and Regan Smith would be a good fit. They just don't have the "star power".

You'r eright. I'm pretty sure Newman only signed a 1 yr deal. That might work. I don't see him at SHR too much longer.

If he wins a couple more, he may keep his ride. Or if he finally makes the Chase. He's currently 15th in points
