Why would he take the usc job over us? You think it's a better job because ESPN over rates them every year? Seriously?

Gruden, whether coming here or not, has plenty more motivation to come here. It's a GREAT job, only tarnished in the eyes of the come lately fans. He coached here, has family here, and is a vol fan. Good god, go cheer for usc.

The probability of Gruden coming the Vols is less then 1%. Think about it, the 10 highest paid coaches in the NFL make between $7.5 to $5.5M. If Gruden were to coach again, I would believe he would become one of the top 10 highest paid coaches in the NFL. The Vols can't pay him anywhere close to that and pay his assistans the salary they will require to come here.



I have many other points I could make but chose not to piss on anyone's parade.

Ah, it is a ruse! He's using it to trick the masses into thinking he's deciding between them. But he's wearing those colors because it's the holidays and he's signaling UT's going to get a big Christmas gift!
