I don't think I understand the point of your link, or how you surmise it means she wouldn't want to be in Knoxville. Either way, that story was written more than a decade ago, and lots of things can change in that amount of time.
Gruden is waiting to see what happens at USC. Kiffin is in hot water. He would take the USC job over UT, in a heartbeat. Arkansas has no chance. Never did.
If Gruden is included in any sort of conversation that includes the words Tennessee, SEC, or a return to coaching.. This website is going to go haywire. Oh, and if he wears an orange tie that might do it too. Gonna be an interesting night. I will be too busy watching us play Oakland so somebody keep me updated! GBO!

The probability of Gruden coming the Vols is less then 1%. Think about it, the 10 highest paid coaches in the NFL make between $7.5 to $5.5M. If Gruden were to coach again, I would believe he would become one of the top 10 highest paid coaches in the NFL. The Vols can't pay him anywhere close to that and pay his assistans the salary they will require to come here.
I have many other points I could make but chose not to piss on anyone's parade.
Read this article on his wife, pretty sure she wouldn't want to come here either.
Life With Gruden for Better or Worse - SFGate
We can all dream for a big time coach like Gruden but really need to be realistic.
His tie is red white and green, its over, he's down to Arkansas and the Eagles... was fun while it lasted!
