Question about gameday these days in Knoxville. I haven't been to a game since before COVID. I am doing much better, but still have issues sometimes walking long distances. What suggestions can you give me as far as parking and shuttles? Would prefer shorter walks obviously. I don't mind paying more for parking for convenience. Also we're going to be getting there later then I would like as the guy with tickets decided to go four wheeling this morning. So if it a suggestion taht requires early bird I won't be able to get there. If I am there by 6pm I'll be amzed, and knowing him we might be rolling in just before game time. Suggestions on parking?

He's got the tickets still, and I don't. It is what it is. Seriously any advice on parking and shuttles?

Can’t he just drop you off (with your ticket!), go park, and catch up with you?

That way, if you need to take a few breathers, you’ll have plenty of time, and he can partially catch up with you.

Do you know what row your seats are on, meaning how many rows higher or lower than the levels? We used to have seats 3-4 rows below the VOLS sign, and the steps were steep and terrifying (to me.)

He could but then I'd have to trust him in my van. Also it's kinda unsaid, I get a free ticket, and am designated driver since I am not drinking today anyway. :D I forget the exact numbers but it's here: Right next to my old seats, maybe 6 rows down river side.

There are some shuttles downtown that drop people off in front of Walters Building. I'm not sure of how much in advance you have to buy those shuttle tickets though.

Sorry. I’ve been away from Knoxville for a long time. I just remember all the hiking and climbing. Hope it works out for you.
Yeah when I last had tickets pre COVID, we'd park amongst the fraternities, and hoof it. We just acted like we belonged, and would tell some frat boy to make sure our car was taken care of. They'd assume we were alumni to their frat and never asked questions. :D That or we'd park across the way at that hospital parking lot across cumberland. That place is a disaster to get out of after game though, and lots of walking.

Fracking Virginia Tech folding at Syracuse. They’re diminishing Bristol. Bad karma, Hokies.
