This game was a microcosm of how the season has gone. Didn’t play exceptionally well, but got the job done against a dangerous LSU team. Those chilly, windy, damp nights at LNS usually play out as close games.

The weather today is going to be nice with the exception of those pesky winds. I’m thinking we come with the hot bats and beat Holman. The guy is striking out 14.5/9 innings with 2.6 walks/9, so will have to get some bats on the ball to win.

We still have @ Florida and @ Vandy though. We will probably have to sweep in Lexington to have any chance to catch UK. Hard to see that happening.

Florida is not a good baseball team, I seriously don’t know how they’re still ranked. Swept by a lowly Mizzou, season series swept by FSU, 16 losses, a losing record in the SEC.
