A little before my time but Munson is one of those guys you respect, no matter what team you root for.
He’s just one of those tough S.O.B.s from an era that I’m extremely disappointed that I missed.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, last night in LNS, everyone is standing at attention, all you hear is the National anthem and the sound of dogs and burgers, sizzling on the grill, I look at my sons, standing with their hands over their hearts and the biggest smiles ever on their faces and it hits me hard, every single time! I always do my best to take in that moment and look around and notice every sight, smell and sound. The anthem, the sizzle, my sons, the players, the green of the turf, the Orange, the flag blowing in the breeze, TAKE ME OUT TO THE OLD BALLGAME, because imo, there is nothing better!!

It was great, I grew up as a front runner fan of The Big Red machine in the mid seventies. The Braves were terrible and I loved watching little Joe and George Foster.

Cardinals fan, saw quite a few games between my Cards and the Big Red Machine. Bench, Morgan, Foster, Perez, Concepcion, big fan of all of the them.

Ready for a real game after the O&W spring game, Lady Vols ahead at MSU. 7th inning. Go Vols! Beat LSU this evening! I did enjoy seeing all the players and fans at the spring game even if televised on SECN+.
