Browns fan since the 80's here. Gordon will be gone before the middle of the season. I give it sooner rather than later. Maybe it was cheaper to put him back on the field and hope someone makes an offer for him. Can't understand it other wise. The guy has had like 6 chances now.... second chances were gone half a dozen times ago. He will test positive again. A matter of time. I've seen some really bad years, I think we are in for a bad one this year. It won't be pretty.

Cowherd stating today that if you are Deshaun Watson you need to start publicly letting it be known you will Not play for the Cleveland Browns. If you let it be known now they will not be able to come after you in the draft.

If DW is just wanting a few million dollars and then go out and find a real career, he should go to whatever team drafts him first. If he actually wants to be a long term NFL QB, he should take Cowherd's advice.

I think it's a facinating take. It's not like someone else won't take him if he just out right lets it be known he doesn't believe the Browns are the best place for him. He would have a valid argument and he is one of the few who could get away with it.

It worked out for John Elway. That's obviously no guarantee it would work for Watson. But playing for the Browns is a guarantee of garbage coaching, garbage support staff, and garbage management.

The 49ers will more than likely get the 1st pick next year. They will be worse than the Browns. I wouldn't mind seeing my Bears tank and get Watson and send Cutler packing. I would take the worst record this year if it meant we got Watson and got rid of Cutler.

They are going with the rookie, which is what I expected. They really have no reason not to. nothing to lose and maybe we will get lucky with youth that just doesn't know better yet. maybe he's just young enough.... if not we will trade him.

Well, Browns changed their mind I guess. I'm hearing they going with McCowen after all. Originally stated they were going with the rookie.

Corey Coleman had 5 catches for 104 yards and 2 TDs. Can't wait for Gordon's suspension to be over and join him.

They have no other healthy QB on the roster. They have another rookie on the practice squad
