You know what else doesn’t matter? Teams talking smack whenever they haven’t won a damn thing recently.Last year was so much fun, but I learned from other SEC fans…
stats don’t matter, wins don’t matter, arguably being the greatest NCAA team of all time and ranked #1 all year don’t matter. Winning the SEC don’t matter. Winning the SEC tournament don’t matter. Being the Number one seed don’t matter.
If you aren’t the WS champion, nothing else mattered.

The all or nothing sports mentality. Cruelest thing in the world in the fact that it robs folks of the joy of being able to enjoy the moment. Was able to take my mom and siblings to their first ever TN baseball game and watch us with the title. Not winning the natty doesn’t take those moments from us.
