you guys first have to find a parent who understands, that this is a business, sensitive time for the recruit, families; understand coaching, finance, ncaa rules and requirements.

I wanted to bring back up this "Appreciation Thread" for MZTerry and the Croom Family. We, a few of the sane ones on VolNation, want you and your son to know that we love ya, and we are praying for a quick recovery so he can get on with his business as a student as a player and as a VFL.

Please pass along our best to Jason for a quick recovery. My son is a freshman at UT, met Jason, (introduced by Justin King) and told me what an amazing young man he is. You must be such a proud momma. Congrats on raising him right and good luck with the rehab. We're glad you are here and glad you can take the positive and ignore the negative from VN!

Here here!!! Nothing warms my heart more than a mama who loves here baby boy and raises em up right. My mom did it and I grew up wondering how she did it alone. But thank GOD for all these young men and their families, and thank you MzTerry for what you have added to the Vol family. We luv ya:dance2:

Thank you so much for the well wishes. I will pass it along to Croomster. We're proud to be VOLS. I've been staying off the boards. Too much for me and I don't know how not to keep my mouth shut yet when it comes to players and especially Dooley. I am still an ultimate Dooley fan and my nature is to protect the people I care about. UT Coaches fall under that umbrella.

I like Dooley. I wish he had made a different hire at DC. I also wished that he had hired a different OC. If he did, I think we could have been a lot better. Hopefully, they make a decent hire.

PS. Looking forward to seeing your son dominate next season.

I agree. On a scale of 1-10 for our defense and 10 being awful, we only needed a 7 or 8 and we would most likely be looking at playing in Atlanta in 2 weeks. Instead our defense was like a 12. In this case Sal and the Clawfense I think are comparable. I really hate it for our University and program to go through it all over again. I hope we get it right this time.

Hope that Croomster isn't phased by the change. My thinking is that he should just put on his winning smile, shake hands and say, "Welcome to Tennessee, Coach," then let his talent and effort take care of the rest. Jones wants to be here, and I'm sure he's glad that Croom is here too. The man understands why Croom and Bynum chose Tennessee. Jones also chose Tennessee.

I have never posted to you personally, but want to thank you and your family for being VFL's. I can tell you are a great Mom by the way you are involved in the Croomsters life. I can't wait to see him scoring touchdowns next year, and I wish you and yours the very best. God Bless
