I'd wait till after next week to judge the Hendrick cars. Could be that the chassis they brought and type of track Atlanta is didnt gel.Anybody else surprised at how bad the Hendrick cars are? I was expecting a big turn around for them this year, except for Johnson.
Also, I am always baffled by how dumb some nascar fans are. The common sense factor has left this sport.
The race yesterday wasn’t bad, but this weekend at Vegas is going to be like New Hampshire in 2003.(whatever year Jeff burton won in the 99 car / restrictor plate race)

I wish they would make the tire fall off drastic. Like 3 seconds a lap over a fuel run falloff. Maybe that would at least give us comers and goers throughout a run.
I saw where a driver ran a 30 lap run and there was a decent fall off from lap 1 to lap 15, but it evened out a little more from 15 to 30.
Hendrick will get better. I actually expected Johnson to be halfway decent this past week but he was garbage. Racing wasn’t awful like you said. I think this coming weekend will tell the tale of the new of aero package.Anybody else surprised at how bad the Hendrick cars are? Truex is always mad about something. Those guys all get paid to race, not to get outta the way.The fact that nascar fans don’t understand why Ricky was running so hard at the end of the race just baffles me. The guy was fast all day and past Kyle Busch at one point coming back through the field while a lap down. He went from 26th(at restart on the track) to 14 or 15 before the last caution.
Then he has to worry about chase Elliot falling off the lead lap and Joey Logano passed him to be the lucky dog after his tire issues.
Martin needs to quit whining. He comes across as a pouting 4 year old.
