NASCAR is moving its Championship awards to Nashville.




I have said since they first announced it that the NASCAR HOF should have been built in Nashville.

I can't find the Twitter link wherevI saw this but....

NASCAR is looking to tweak their schedule beginning in 2020 by going straight to the West Coast following Daytona. That would push Atlanta further back for better weather.

Not sure why they haven't done this before but three or four weeks should help with Atlanta somewhat but you still see late March early April dates at Bristol/Martinsville with potential for cold and even Snow flurries.
