It will be interesting to see how Nashville races. They could potentially shift, but I think there is variable banking which should help.

New car is an absolute hit at any place where you can run a couple of different lines.

Ross Chastain showing his bad side today. Making enemies in a championship season can come back to bite.

He hit everything but the lottery. I’ll give him credit, he owned up to it. I’m not sure that will help his cause, but not many would own up to it.

That was a long day. I figure plenty of comments have been made that if it had started close to noon like they did for all races not too long ago, it probably would have been over before even the first delay.

I also chose possibly the slowest line in history to get some food during the lightning delay. Maybe 9 people in front of me, took 30 minutes.

Getting out was a bit rough. I wonder if the exit process would have been better if it ended at a "regular" time and didn't rain. The gate I entered through was closed and the field is not really lit up that great to find the pathways out.

Did they charge for parking this year?

They did not.

We got out very easily. We did hang out at the car for half an hour or so to have dinner though. Overall the track handled the event better this year. My main gripe would be with how slow the security line was to enter the track.

Last year was a CF getting to park and into the track. Glad to hear they fixed at least part of that, might go back now.

It was 6000 times better than last year. I’ll be renewing my ticket. I understand the call for the late start, helps provide shade for most of the race. It bit them this time.

Didn’t get home until 3:30am. 😴

Overall everything was handled much better than last year. The not charging to park made entry a ton faster.

I saw a lot of people that had soft sided coolers, so I will be trying that next year so I can have some water that stays cold longer.

What happened to the Firecracker 400 at Daytona on the holiday weekend ?
sorry I’m an old NASCAR fan, grew up around Bristol but ?

Really happy for Tyler! Seems like a great guy and a fantastic driver. Would love to see him at Hendrick if he has to stay with Chevrolet.

Was cool to see a guy I've actually seen wheel a dirt late model win a Cup race. Started driving for Scott Bloomquist in the Hav-a-Tampa/UDTRA days.
