I love the reconfiguration of Atlanta, as much as I loved the old one. It was the best of the intermediate tracks. I don’t necessarily agree that all of the other tracks need to be reconfigured, but Texas would benefit from a similar reconfiguration. That would save the track.
I don’t know how I feel about the new Atlanta. The old Atlanta was a bit of a snoozer, but it felt pure. The new one in the spring was interesting, but I don’t know if I loved it. Today it seems to be a good mix between speed and handling.
New Atlanta seems like gimmick racing. It’s not really bad, just not my cup of tea. I preferred the old Atlanta with higher powered cars. It gave the driver some control of their fate.
I feel like it's just popular to hate on Chase now. Corey had a run but that block really wasn't late he never got to Chase's quarter panel he hit him in the back and lost it.
Heartbroken for Lajoie. Chase didn’t do anything wrong. It’s the final lap and you have to throw an aggressive block at the potential expense of others.
And that's why judgment calls suck. It's either a penalty if the wheel comes off or isn't. I can see the changer getting suspended, but not the crew chief. He has nothing to do with it.
