The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

With the speed the 1 car has and the talent Ross has, why haven’t they won more races?

I’m stealing this question from Denny’s podcast, but it is worth asking. They have top 5 speed every week, but that hasn’t translated to wins like one would expect.

Reckless driving will do that. He’s an incredible talent. Just a bully on the track and inconsiderate of spacing except for himself.

I hope it is a good race. The track has been hyped up so much that if it isn't a good one, I'm concerned a lot of people who don't remember it and/or don't appreciate the history of it will sour on the place.
Not every time is a track going to give you an "exciting" race.

I hope the same thing for the Nashville Fairgrounds if they ever do a NASCAR event there. I go to to the regular programming all the time. The first Late Model race of the year was dull, last week was a 3-way battle for the lead throughout.

Watching that pharmaceutical sponsored 3 car race around North Wilksboro on rain tires and flashing lights really takes me back…

I got a feeling social media going to be full of people asking why people wanted North Wilkesboro back so much after that butt kicking.

I didn’t think it was a bad show, it was nostalgic even for people that aren’t really old enough to remember it back in the day. Had a local short track feel to it and I enjoyed it. It’s a driver’s track and it separates the men from the boys
