To be honest, I was pretty torn up about the attacks. I have no connection except for some inlaws I love very much with french ancestry (and gf), but I've spent the last 3 months poring over every shred of historical information I could find about France, from the celts to the Franks and Romanization, and found a lot to be admired.

I have no connection at all, except that my mom and her parents visited there when they were stationed in Germany like 50 years ago. I just hate what happened over there and thought it was a nice thing to do.

It was an awful thing that happened. The motivations and resolution of what they did is something I've never been able to relate to, and I'm a prettty screwed up dude. Imo, they have pissed off the wrong country. Parisians practically invented terrorism, and enacted it against their own countrymen at that.

Lol always with the excuses. Was North Texas a top defense in the nation too? 3.7 yards per pass attempt is pathetic. We will get killed in a bowl if Dobbs sucks like he has the last 2 weeks. But yay for field goals!

This. We have defeated Mizzou for the first time ever. It wasn't a pretty game, but we put up an 11 point victory on the road and finally beat someone in the SEC not named UK, USCe, and Vandy on the road.
