Well, @Proud Army Wife, the fat lady has sung! Disappointing we gave up the lead in the 9th. I was hoping JJ would bring Herring on, but Jump wasn’t a bad decision. That’s baseball. Y’all tear it up next weekend! Looking forward to seeing the Vols in Omaha. It’s going to be your year!

Another good year for LSU…never easy repeating especially losing all the talent you did! See you next year for what I’m sure will be another great team you guys have!

LSU was more dangerous, especially in Omaha. Period. Hard to beat a team 5 times in one year. Bring on the Heels. But first things first this weekend!

I mostly for bad for Hellmers. Kid came out and threw the game of his life. Like Ackenhausen and Hurd did last year at the CWS. I really wanted the win for him. Overall, I’m happy with the way the team turned it around. Starting 3-12 in SEC play, and I thought we were doomed. Certainly would have liked the win tonight, but it was a gutsy performance the last 3rd of the season. Gotta like the fight for sure.

Real good down the stretch and dont feel sorry for them…they have won the ultimate prize at the college level! We have played baseball for over 125 years and nobody in a Vols uni ever has. Hoping that changes here in a few weeks!

I agree. I appreciate decent college baseball loving people, no matter who they cheer for, such as @TigerMan .

LSU was off the rails early in the season, but they definitely got back on track.
