Who’s better defensively at SS, Didi or Gleyber? Is one even demonstrably better?

I almost see them as a wash.

I would be very careful trading another young guy for a pitcher. Pitchers are the highest risk and usually some team will have a fire sale the end of June -- unloading a big contract for next to nothing

I’m fine trading CF. We have Florial who can replace him and was playing well this spring before the injury. We have too many OFs right now anyway.

I guess maybe slightly.

I’d still like Didi to return to form, demonstrate his capability, and then be used as a chip along with Frazier to land a big time arm.

Play Gleyber & DJ up the middle going forward.

I think Gleyber’s ceiling is much higher than Didi’s. And he’s only 22.

Dude is 18 (maybe 19). No way they give up on him that quick. Kept Mason Williams around forever. Have kept CF around as well and he’s been hurt a few times.

He’s young. But he’s 21, not a teenager.

It would have to be a legit arm they get back in return.
