The Official Nfl Draft Thread

Pittsburg is going to select heath miller. they have to be happy he is still here.

Pats is going to take Kevin Burnett. The Eagles need to upgrade their linebacking corps, and Burnett has the ability to quickly take over on the weak side. He’s a playmaker with excellent speed, and has shown no ill effects from the knee injury that cost him the 2002 season.

Great pick by Philly. That might put them over the edge at reciver postion. He is a very good reciver as we all know. I think he will shine as the number two reciver next to terell owens.

Lions get: Tennessee's second-round pick (No. 37 overall) and selected DE Shaun Cody.
Titans get: Detroit's second-round pick (No. 41) and fourth-round pick (No. 113).

I don't care for Washington but I do want to see Jason go 1st round.

I care for Washington BIG TIME!! As much as it kills me to say it...I am happy with Rogers and Campbell. I just like to see the SEC guys on the team. Good day for the skins! :rocks:

Titans select Michael Roos, Eastern Washington, 6-7/320

Has great athleticism, but is raw. Shows good footwork and instincts. Bends well. Is willing to finish blocks. Doesn't play with power. Needs to get stronger. Isn't a finished product. Hasn't faced top competition. Has short arms for his size.

more on Michael Roos

Roos is a small-school, late-bloomer that was born in Estonia and moved to the USA in 1992. Roos only played one year of high school football and he played TE and DE during that season. He redshirted as a TE in 2000 and split time between offense and defense in 2001. He switched to left tackle fulltime in 2002, started all 11 games the next two seasons (2002-'03) and was named All-Big Sky honorable mention both years. Roos once again was a fulltime starter at LOT as a senior in 2004, when he garnered first-team All-Big Sky honors. Roos has developmental upside with very good athleticism for his size. The former tight end continues to get bigger and stronger. He also continues to improve his technique and efficiency as a blocker. Roos has room to improve in terms of his consistency with leverage and his overall strength
