Sliding to first doesn’t get you there any faster…talk about a play that needs to be outlawed…just dumb

They have done scientific studies and running through the base is faster. Whenever you slide you actually slow your momentum. Any time I see a player slide through first I just laugh because clearly they have zero baseball IQ. The only time you slide is to avoid a swipe tag whenever the 1B is pulled off the base.

Yeah but Kentucky hit like 50 as a team last year. It’s not crazy for a player to improve 7 home runs. They clearly have adapted to the launch angle approach because they have 20 more homers this season. CMo had 17 homers last year. I guess he is juicing too?
