Yep. No one who has that low stance hits for power. It’s a trade off for OBP vs SLG basically. One exception. Rickey developed some power with his head basically in the strike zone. He’s the only hitter I’ve seen hit 20+ batting in a stance built for walks and hbp.

Tell that to MLB. Personally, I think it’s stupid to shift because that tells me your pitcher sucks and isn’t good enough. Get better and you won’t have to shift lol. Usually whatever the MLB implements NCAA follows suit.

Tells me the hitter usually hits to the sane places on the field. Hitters should be better.
