I've only been to NYC once and noticed the same thing. Honestly, it seemed kind of depressing, plus it was cold.Somewhat related but It really does in New York. I went there for new years on time and it was dark by 3:45pm. Never experienced that living in the south my entire life. Not to mention you never see the sky in the first place lol
I didn’t like it. It doesn’t even feel American. Most people you meet either don’t speak English or have foreign accents. It was a culture shock to me. Where I grew up was 60% white, 40% black and 100% American lol. I might as well have been crocodile Dundee up thereI've only been to NYC once and noticed the same thing. Honestly, it seemed kind of depressing, plus it was cold.
