Better outcome for us. Even if Bama wins another NC. They have so many what is one more. If UGA were to win one then that is one more rival with a more recent NC and in our main recruiting pipeline state.

Navy is a BCS school? BYU is a BCS school? That's news to me. If you're impressed with ND so be it. No one else seems to be, they'd be an underdog to just about every other top 10 team according to Vegas.

Serious question: Could Saban's tenure at Bama be comparable to John Wooden's at UCLA? This will be his third NC in four years.

The only way I see this train stopping is if he retires, gets caught cheating, or another coach somehow overtakes him.

ND won't be scared of Bama. They've got a chance to win. But there literally could not be a more vomit-inducing title game unless it was Bama-UF. I don't think I'll let myself watch it.

They're independents if they went undefeated they would play in a BCS game....when they beat bama people will see how good they're

I would love to see the Irish win it all. Don't know why you guys hate them so much. They've been a non-factor in college football for years.

Don't think it was spike outcome determinative. Could have spiked and the same thing could have happened -- deflected back shoulder.

Their pass offense is atrocious and their secondary is atrocious. They have not faced a defense close to Alabama. What's your response to how both teams handled their one common opponent?

Their offense is not bad geez man...and their secondary is bad teams have light them up this year for a bajillion points...

Bama had all months on top of months to prepare for michigan and michigan isn't that great ND held them to 6 points bama held them to 14....ND has a great defense and the offense had been improving all year...brian kelly used to have to get a team ready for a NC with a week to prepare now he has over 40 days...ND will be ready and beat bama

Agreed. Any combination between bama, Fla, and nd is awful.

I said pass offense please read before responding. Their secondary has been able to stay hidden because the pass rush has been good. Funny that every analyst says ND secondary is abysmal but hasn't had to be tested much yet you insist it's not bad at all. I'm done with this. Bama wins going away.

ND shut down OU...I think their secondary has been tested...and bama will not win...and their pass offense is getting better every game...it's about 200 pass 200 rush for ND...they'er a very balanced team...they know everyone is against them i'm sure they don't mind being underdogs either...they'll be ready

I agree with you that Kelly will have them ready to play. But IMO they just aren't good enough to compete with Bama. It's not like Saban is going to sit around twiddling his thumbs for the next 5 weeks.

Brian Kelly used to only have 6 days to prepare a team for a national title...now he has over 30...kelly is a genius...watch
