The Official SEC Championship Thread

Brian Kelly used to only have 6 days to prepare a team for a national title...now he has over 30...kelly is a genius...watch

I don't dispute that he's a great coach. But he'll be facing a team with superior talent that is led by the best college coach of the past 30 years.

Just goes to show Richt isnt suppose to win a NC

when they got that last drive started i said they should drive right down the field, but then i considered the richter scale, and it proved itself. this was his best team and time. that game was meant to be uga but they blew it. oh well lmao.

Damn. What a bad break for UGA at the end. Either way, that was one hell of a National Championship game.

We will be back....hopefully soon! That was one of the hardest hitting games I watched all year.

Edit: I see what you did there, nice.

Tough, tough game.

It was a helluva a game. UGA came to play and kept the score way closer than what I thought they would. I personallly believe Richt did "more with less" this year. That RB duo is gonna be tough to handle for a couple of more years.

Nothing to be ashamed of. One of the best games I have seen in a long time. I hate it UGA lost that game. Everything was seemingly bouncing UGAs way except for the officials. If they play ten times I think BAMA wins 8 times. What sucks is UGA will be playing in the Capital One Bowl

The officials threw UGA a bone on the play before the blocked FG return. McCarron's pass wasn't tipped, so the PI call should have been marked off giving Bama a fresh set of downs.

The refs also allowed Murray to get blasted after that INT...should have been a PF.

Agree on all accounts. I was just saying everything went UGAs way but BAMA got some good breaks from the officials.

would be nice to have such talent and depth that players can overcome multiple coaching mistakes. Ga players just couldn't overcome that last one by Ga coaching staff, yet bama overcame their hc costing them @ 11-14 points.

No question you spike the ball and call 2 plays in the huddle in that situation. Take a breath, get in the huddle, and let your leader get the group together and win the game.

I have to disagree with you. Bama was on their heels and very vulnerable at that particular time. Spiking the ball would have given them time to regroup.

We could be having a different conversation if the Bama LB did not make a great play and deflect the ball.

IMO, it was the right thing to do and it was the perfect call in that scenario.

ND shut down OU...I think their secondary has been tested...and bama will not win...and their pass offense is getting better every game...it's about 200 pass 200 rush for ND...they'er a very balanced team...they know everyone is against them i'm sure they don't mind being underdogs either...they'll be ready

Jones threw for 365, what are you talking about? They couldn't run the ball, passing was not the problem. Remember what happened the last time your undefeated team played a SEC team with more talent and you had 30 days to prepare BK?

If you are throwing it to the deep corner of the endzone and get it batted by the dl, your ol wasn't ready and needed to regroup. That pass is seldom tipped.
