I think they will bounce back in a big way today. Baylor is not the same caliber of team that Texas is.A big Saturday for Tennessee Athletics for both basketball teams and baseball. Thankfully they are not happening all at the same time. Hope they all get wins today.
I’m curious to see how the baseball team responds against Baylor today. I liked Coach V’s candor during his postgame availability. Look forward to the game!
I can’t remember what inning but someone got caught in a rundown between 2nd and 3rd on a comebacker to the pitcher. Ended up with a runner on 2nd anyways. Bad baserunning by the lead runner, but equally good baserunning by the batter to make it to 2nd. That was the only other blunder I recall off the top of my head.Besides the bad decision in the first inning, where was the bad base running?
Correct.... The funny thing is I never said this team was bad, just not top 5 caliber like I thought they should win today. Then who knows what arms will be left for tomorrow. I almost wished we wouldve thrown Johnny wholestaff last night and used Burns today and Dollander tomorrow to secure a 2-1 weekend.I think they will bounce back in a big way today. It’s what I’ve noticed. I’ve been a cbb fan for about 20 yrs.
That is the only error. The rundown is common. It forces the defense to make a play that with the risk of an error with no added benefit. We didn’t risk anything on that play.Like Pack posted the runner who got caught in a run down. But the decision in the first was really bad. Couldve had runners on 2nd and 3rd with Trey up, had a chance to jump on em early.
