How much confidence can he really be gaining? He throws 2 TD's and then follows up with 2 picks... IDC if you think Pig stopping on that route caused the int, if pig continues, that ball is at the very best knocked down. Just not sure why people think 10 more throws against USA is going to realistically prepare him for Georgia and Alabama... 10 throws for one of the freshmen might make a legitimate difference.

I never said they were better but it would not be that difficult to be better than Worley.

No. They are not playing because Butch is preparing for the future and needs two solid qb's to build around. If he thought either of them were ready, they would be in there because Worley is not an elite quarterback. Worley's mechanics and accuracy are terrible but he can manage the game and read defenses better than true freshmen who will face stacked lines to stop the run and several blitz packages.
