The Official Tennessee @ #3 Kansas Game Thread, 4:00 PM ET, ESPN

Especially with all the preseason work he missed. He needs to be more aggressive and trust his athleticism.

He already has an NBA body. He needs to realize that and go abuse smaller guards or out-quick bigger guys.

It's frustrating to me to think what I could have done if blessed with his athleticism. I see very few kids these days with a wide range of moves/shots. Needs to be more development when young on a running floater, baby hook, turnaround mid range jumper, using the glass on mid range jumpers from angles, etc.

If a middle-aged white guy like me can get creative to score then I know these kids can but they aren't taught it because that's not done in the NBA any more and they all want to get to the league.
Got any eligibility left???

5 years To play 4 baby! Alas, my old-man game skills are relegated to surprising kids at the rec center. It amazes me how they don't know how to handle someone playing physical defense or doing anything on offense other than dribble 5 mins and then Jack up a long jumper.

It's humbling for these super athletic kids to get beat by someone their Dad's age. We have an older black dude in his mid 50s that played college ball in the late 70's/early 80's that also opens their eyes...that guy is an animal.

I know, TLDR.

Ok Skippy

Point being that a lot of kids aren't exposed/taught a lot of nuances of the game, dick. They rely too much on athleticism but don't have something to differentiate them when others are as or more athletic.

I like Vescovi's game. He has a lot of creativity which is now looked at as an international thing.

It seems as if you are having trouble reading the post, so check it again, paying particular attention to "season" in contrast to "today".

And, yes, he's still a freshman.

Well OK Then. I guess all the coaches are wrong when they say a Freshman isn't really a Freshman past the Midway point of the season. JJJ may have the body and potential; but Vescovi has the IT factor. Also a Freshman; with No Work with the team; and Impressing. I just want to see some GRIT & Urgency.

At about 4 minutes (or so) to go until about 3:50, Azubuike fouled Fulkerson twice, neither was called......the first he almost flattened Fulk to the ground, then just a few seconds later on the offensive end sure looked like he shoved Fulk in the throat.......I think Kansas got like 4 points out of that deal (maybe a different one).

I’ve certainly seen worse officiating, and for me it wasn’t “real” bad.....but there were probably 4 (or more) fouls (blatant) by Azubuike that wasn’t called.

I haven't ever seen Worse; slanted to one side, one player. Refs SUCKED! I was fixing to slap the hell out of one; right through the TV.

What would that solve or prove? Nothing lol. They're just not a very good basketball team. Its not their fault. It's really CRB's fault for lack of recruiting the last 2 cycles.
As untalented as they are, im sure a fellow like yourself can make an instant impact in teaching or leading then

Maybe so,, but who is better than Barnes at Player development and extracting the most from his players? I'll wait.

They are gonna allow a certain amount of illegal contact inside just like receivers and defensive backs in football. You have to be physical and strong inside and we just don't have anybody that matches up with a player like that.

Yeah he did well with William's and Schofield. But Bowden...not so much. Explain that. I'll wait
Lol. Bowden is a completely different tempermant and you can't question anything he does except his shooting slumps.

The whole season has been a shooting slump. Not sure why everyone is up in arms because I said the team lacks talent. Only spoke the truth. Nothing against the guys. I know they work hard. And still root for them every game. But that doesn't change the fact of the matter lol.

Lol.....seriously take a good look at this picture and reply again (if on a phone click to make larger and turn sideways to get full view)

Some of this stuff had NOTHING to do with “banging.”........pushing off is always “supposed” to be a foul. If you shove someone down with your forearm on their neck.......it should always be a foul.

I think its the fact that you post you opinion as fact with nothing to back it up...obviously you can't play at thier untalented level so why voice your worthless opinion as fact? So you feel better being heard??

😂😂😂 Still hating....still doesn't change the facts

Prove my statement otherwise. All anyone can come up with is that I couldn't do any better. Which is true, but doesn't prove me wrong or change the facts of what I said. Lol
Your obviously uneducated statement wq as proven false by the simple fact they are scholarship athletes...if theu weren't they would be here on a msg board saying hiw untalented someone else is...

Also the fact that as many as all 5 starters will get a shot at professional basketball after thier UT career are over..

Those who cant do, teach. Those that cant do either need to STFU....you already said you can play better,or teach/lead them. So the 3rd option is yours

Ohh, so the simple fact they have been given a scholarship innately gives them god given talent and they are all going pro now. 😂😂😂😂😂 Woooow. LMAO
