Lopez is a better leader on the floor than Trae and in practice. Haven't seen arky play though and not sure if he can handle applied pressure. Lets see if we attack it and score or retreat and turn it over.

Did you watch the Ole Miss game? That's how handles pressure, poorly.

64-53 Arkansas. Playing on the road without our starting PG will be too much.

Tempo will be too fast, amplifying our inefficiency on the offensive end.

He has hardly played. The more he plays, the better he will handle it. A little coaching them up on spacing and how to break a press and attack wouldn't hurt. Maybe Lopez can at least direct traffic and get guys in the right spots. We don't have that right now and its highly important to have that on the floor in basketball.

I'm getting that same vibe, I think this one is going to end up ugly for us. I hope not as we're at that point where every game is a must win but I just don't see having any confidence in this team on the road, especially now that we're down Golden.

If we control the pace, I like our chances.

But we need to win a game on the road before I feel confident.

I think this is going to end up ugly for us as well.

No. He is not talented enough to play in the SEC. The only reason he is playing is an emergency and even then I wish Martin would pick someone else over him.

He will get destroyed by the even the most mediocre SEC backcourt.

Stokes will have to have a 15/15 type game and someone else is going to need to play above their stats.

Armani Moore or Yemi have my vote (depending on the pace)

Richardson needs to play great D on Young today. That's going to be very important.

I have found that if I am a "strong confident" I get let down and when I think that it could be a brutal "beatdown" we come out like world beaters. Every instinct says that this will be ugly. So, in a twisted way, I feel o.k. about it. Bottom line: I will not be surprised if we get gutted on national tv OR if the changes that seem to be becoming more comfortable and familiar as the Vols have had to deal with the loss of Maymon suddenly take that next step towards solidification and we look like world beaters. This is about that time when, after a serious and unexpected program set-back, a team that has good chemistry and is being "coached up" starts to tighten the lug nuts and get back on the road. I believe in 'Zo. I think that the Maymon blow was HUGE. I also see how the total retooling is making more and more sense and think that the guys are far more bought in than us. I really think that we are poised for a run......then again, I am just a flat out Vol and I've never walked into a game of any sport and thought that we weren't going to win. Zo has my confidence, though, and I think that he has a coachable team that is regrouping after a "kick to the nuts". Are they there on a level that they will need for this game? I don't know. Are these Vols in the hands of a smart, competetive winner that is infectious with his ways? Yup.

Good God, they just showed Nolan Richardson at the break and he looks 175 years old. Father time has been unkind to him!
