With the 3rd baseman playing even with the bag, a ball hit directly to the 3rd baseman and the runner at 3rd goes home? Doesn't make sense. Make the third baseman throw across the diamond and see what happens. It is just not smart.

It’s just the coaches style. For almost everyone 2nd and 3rd with 1 out is auto go on contact unless back to the pitcher

I didn’t see Burke leave the baseline at all so that’s an awful call. Arkansas clearly didn’t hear or see it or they wouldn’t have let Ensley get to 2nd as easily as they did.

He was out of the baseline when he was returning to 2nd base

If that is the case, then why did Moore go all the way back to 3rd? Shouldn't he have given himself up once the runners were at 3rd & 2nd?
