I have seen wins @lsu, against FL, some promising offense at times and the deepest pitching Staff in the country. This season will be decided in 2 weeks against Mississippi State imo.

It will be decided once they lose this series, I wish I felt more confident but this pitching staff cannot handle SEC hitters and the offense does not show up in critical times. But I am always hopeful they can rally and come back, but the demeanor of this team does not show they have that ability...

The last two seasons spoiled TN fans, this season was going to be a rebuild but we all assumed we would be one of the best teams in the country with this pitching staff......

People keep using the word “rebuild” but I don’t think it’s necessarily appropriate in the sense that even a team in a “rebuild” should be able to make basic, fundamental baseball plays.

Our lineup struggling can be attributed to a rebuild, but this team’s defense and some of the early season pitching woes by veterans go beyond a rebuild, IMO. It’s just bad baseball by talented people who we know should be better than this.
