Not really. Doesn’t ease up much. We have 3 more series against Top 10 teams on our schedule in Vandy, South Carolina, and Kentucky. Basically our entire schedule from late March through May is Top 10 teams and Miss State/Georgia.

We’ll almost certainly lose to Vandy and USC if we keep playing like this. The season will be determined by Georgia and Miss State but even those teams are starting to play better baseball.

I have seen wins @lsu, against FL, some promising offense at times and the deepest pitching Staff in the country. This season will be decided in 2 weeks against Mississippi State imo.

I’ve said it multiple times but the Mizzou series is really the back breaker. I know they’ve had several injuries, but getting swept to one of the worst teams in the league is hard to come back from from a standing perspective.

I don’t think the back half compares at all. Our rpi will remain high if so and that works in our favor. We are currently ranked 6th with ELO
