Pearl was yelling at them to slow down. So dont know how that is bad coaching.

For about 2-3 seconds Pearl was motioning for Goins to push the up the ball up the court and then started yelling for him to pull it out but it was too late because he was past half court. Bad all the way around.

Wouldn't mind having Maymon in over Pearl. Maymon is taller and wider. He also serves the exact same purpose. Just tell him not to dribble the ball and we should be good.

Exactly my thoughts, but I swear Fields scares the heck out of me whenever someone passes him the ball. If he catches it I'm alright, but I swear he reminds me of a Stanley Asumnu. No offense to Stanley, but he was so gittery with the ball.... once he had control I knew he could dunk it or whatever, but just handling the ball scares me with Fields.

The announcers do not clearly want UCONN to win. They are also facing NCAA violations. Seth Davis actually had the best perspective and insight regarding Pearl's situation.

Melvin Goins is playing with serious heart, if Hopson and Tatum wake the hell up offensively and Harris boxes out, then we should be able to win.

I can't say one way or another on him, but we were 7-0 before he came in. I think fitting him into the line-up has caused a little imbalance in our team's chemistry.
