Fine I admit I was wrong during ONE game. Happy? Of course not. That's your opinion and I respect it. I can't force my belief or opposition of Martin on anyone. But isn't this a public forum? I believe so. Was I overboard during the A&M game? Yes. So was everyone else on the board. I find it funny you call me overboard and dramatic on the one game that was truly a bull crap roller coaster. But you're right, I didn't own up to me being wrong. I'm sorry.

We definitely disagree, but it's good to see you don't have your own agenda like I previously believed. Again, sorry for bashing you like that. :hi:

Every time I start getting confident in CCM's coaching ability he baffles me with his decisions. The rotations today were strange, we didn't push the tempo, McBee playing more than half the game throwing up bricks, no Makanjoula to help prevent all the easy points in the paint.. Just don't get it sometimes

Not your homie first of all. Second, if you took that literal, that is your problem. What I was referring too was that all plays should have gone through him.

McCrae should have taken the majority of the shots in the second half, not freaking Richardson and McBee (today). McCrae was hot. Ride him until he cools off.

Also, Golden was just not ever in the game. Flashes of earlier in the season. I know he has been hot, but he was obviously way off today. I would have rather seen more of Reese or Moore; that's all.

On the bubble isn't in. For the longest the only way were gonna be guaranteed a shot is winning the tourney. Winning out guaranteed nothing. "Genius"

Well duh. If Duke loses in the ACC tourney they won't be in automatically either.

If you're going to say that, then what's the point of even discussing it? It all comes down to the committee anyway. We have zero say.

Duke is in if they lose first round. It's automatic. We aren't close to duke.

Brian Williams fire? Thats a good one. One of the laziest big men ever at UT, never got close to his potential. Would be suprised if you could slide a sheet of paper under him with that vertical.

Unless guys are just missing wide open shots and shooting 20% from the field, losing is on the coach.
Though I believe Martin has shown improvement in some areas this season, he has a long way to go to gain the respect of those who doubt him.
1. He has to show he can recruit with the big boys. 2 quality players in 3 years and the rest border line development projects won't win conference or NCs.
2. Has to show he can win on the road. His road record here is despicable.
3. Has to show he can win the 'Must Win' games. Involves better game preparation, proper adjustments during games and getting control of his players. something he didn't do at GA.

Cuonzo Martin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have read several people say Cuonzo has been here 3 years. He coach for MO St. in 2010-11. I dont have a calculator in front of me, but I think he has only been here less than 2 years.

I do agree with your points. But its hard to have number 2 and 3 if you dont have number 1 yet. And I just dont think we have given him enough time to pass anykind of judgement.

He has 3 recruiting classes.
Okay, I'll give him a pass on the first.
personally, I think he'll dance this season and that will help recruiting for 2014. That's where he'll make or break his future here.
Also, dancing with this jekyl and hyde team should quiet a lot of the criticism.

Good call. Dont you think a lot of the jekyl and hyde'ness is not having a decent back-up for Trae, when he starts hangin his head? Not singling Trae out specifically because a lot of 18,19,20, and 21 year olds have this problem. But the lack of any depth whatsoever.

I think hopefully having a couple of back-ups will help a lot toward consistancy, which a lot of folks have an issue with right now.

That's where he's misfired on recruiting.
Too many wings. Should have replaced Washpun with a PG.

Gotta give Kenny Hall some credit Sat. He didnt have big numbers, but at least he added some extra offense.

I have been critical in the past, so felt like a little prop's were in order.
