I love this team but they are below average whenever it comes to fundamentals. Just catch an underhand toss from 10 feet and you have a 1-2-3 inning. You make little league mistakes, expect big league consequences.

Base running and defense are the reason we won’t ever win in Omaha. I hate to say it but those 2 things have plagued us since vitello got here and they’re the most important factors in omaha

My son is a sophomore at UT and went to the TN-LSU game. I asked how he enjoyed the campus. He said the game was fun but Baron Rouge is a cess pool. I asked about New Orleans and he said one nt hanging out w friends was enough for him in that town.

It was 2 plays. The play to Halverson, then Moore missing the tag and being late in the the throw. If we are more aware that there’s 2 ours Moore goes straight to the 3rd base. Score 3 runs on 1 hit is pathetic at this level.
