No...what that means is that in my corporate role as the managing partner with ORNL and other affiliated programs I was expected to have a active and healthy personal and professional relationship with the university....now that I'm retired it means I live in the woods in Campbell County, often going days without seeing another person, some days I don't wear pants and I talk to my pack of dogs and often they talk to me...

I've met and know Martin, Hart, and Pearl but only have a relationship with Pearl...if I asked him whats going on he's the kind of man who would probably feel obligated to tell me and that's why I would never ask...

Now RE the fiscal aspect...your profile says you're 24 so even if the Patel's are paying you the big money there at the 7-11 its not even close...

Hey man.....Campbell County huh :hi: Howdy Howdy neighbor.

And this means what? As I stated before, I don't understand wanting your team to lose regardless of how much you pay. You can support your team and still want the coach gone.

I was responding to your post to Krager, I'm not too sure how old he is.

Well hey, if Hart asks your opinion, be sure to mention the petition....k?

I've probably given more money to the university than you've made in your lifetime...I apologize to reasoned posters for being so abrupt and rude but people of this ilk bother me....

'losing' at this point in time is a means to an end....its a common practice in sports, business, and life...
Just because you give money to the university doesn't mean you have the right to root against the Vols. doesn't sound like a true fan to me.

It's Mississippi state, the team who's competing with USCe for the last place crown in the SEC. If we lose this game, I'll be extremely pissed.

Not to sound like a Debbie downer, but you might want to go ahead and pick out a mattress you don't mind parting with. :)

I could see the wheels falling the rest of the way off tonight.

I just don't see Miss state winning no matter how bad we play. I've watched a couple of their games in their 9 game losing streak and they are beyond mediocre.

Will they get the ball inside to Stokes in the second half ?...I doubt it....Will Thompson or Barton score more than 5 points ?.... I doubt it...Will Tennessee score 70 points?...I doubt it. Will Tennessee beat Vanderbilt ?... I doubt it...Really wish they could do all of the above!!!

I never want UT to lose any game to anyone. Regardless of the outcome, the jury's beyond being "out" in regards to CCM. It's back in the courtroom and the unanimous conclusion is that Martin's out. The jury IS still out, though, on AD Dave Hart. Picking up Butch Jones was more fortunate than it was intuitive. Who initially predicted this current recruiting class? Remember he was a bit down Hart's list.....just the best one left willing to take the helm. Even the stubbornest of doubters must admit that Butch has injected a huge amount of enthusiasm into our fan base. Hart's dilemma is rooted in his not hiring Bruce before some other school does and alienating the bulk of this same fan base, or in hiring Bruce and not getting the results (translated into dollars and cents) that the big money heads and our fickle media are expecting. It appears that an AD's ego could once again get in the way of the fans' wishes. I sure hope not. BBB.

I may be giving him too much credit, but I'd like to believe with his basketball background(in college) he would take a lot of pride in his schools basketball program. Now whether Cheek gives him control is a animal.

Also don't see a reason to think Hart;s ego would get in the way of him bbb, if he is the best candidate left standing. JM:twocents:

I don't ever want us to lose in anything but at this point I don't really care anymore!

A Win = Same Ole, Same ole!
A loss! = One step closer to this nightmare being over!

I got off work early to finally watch a full game. I feel like it is do or die time. Right now is when momentum has to start if you want to peak for the offseason. Time to step up!
