I have a buddy that played at Missouri about 12 years back and he told me they purposely did not put heaters in the dugout because they viewed the cold weather as they are advantage.
This is actually interesting to me. You guys do realize that HS players play in this weather every year in the midwest and north. We started every year in 20-30 degree weather and practiced outside from mid February on. I umpired a game in north Ga mountains one year when we played the game with 2 inches of snow on the ground and 18 degrees. They literally blew the lines and had covered home plate and the mound. The rest of the field was covered with snow. It may seem unusual to you but our guys practice outside in 30 degree weather on a regular basis. I do not understand the all up in arms over cold weather. The temperatures at game time are going to be a balmy 41 today and 34 tomorrow. That is not like the antarctic or something.

I'm going to have to wear a coat just to watch the game on TV. Texas heat thins the blood. This is actually interesting to me. Glad you're not concerned. Hopefully we'll be able to look back at this series as no big deal. This is actually interesting to me.
