The Official Tennessee NCAA Tournament Info Thread

they just got a 20+ road win hitting almost 70% for the game. They're getting healthier and playing better and better.

Vandy beat Miss St. by 41 at Miss St. Beating really bad teams isn't that impressive and gives little indication of a team's quality regardless of where you do it.

MO is going to be difficult, though.

1. It's south Carolina.
2. We just beat a top 10 Fl team.
3. I don't think they'll shoot that high of a % the rest of the season.
4. I think we are playing some of the best ball we have played this season.
I'm not ready to say we lose just yet.

we really need VA to lose. I can see them one of the teams stealing a bid from TN

No we don't, root for them. There's PLENTY of bubble teams we haven't played that we can root against. Our resume is better than UVAs even with their win over duke, and if we take care of business it really won't matter.

MO will beat us... we'll have to win 2 in the SECT .I don't like those odds.

To say "WILL" is a bit outrageous IMO. Florida is 10x the team Mizzou is and we handled Florida playing far from our best game. Can Mizzou beat us, no doubt, but saying they "will" seems a bit ridiculous.

South Carolina is a bad matchup for Mizzou and it's....South Carolina. They will be lucky to shoot half of that in TBA. Mizzou gets buckets by running up and down the court and crashing the boards hard. South Carolina has no answer for any of that but our style of defense prevents teams like that from getting in transition and we have always been strong on the boards.

The revolving door at the top of the bracket continues

March 1, 2013 8:45 am ET Three of the top seeds in Monday's bracket lost this week, and two of them have been replaced in Friday's version. Indiana remains the overall top seed, but Duke and Michigan fell off and were replaced by Georgetown and Michigan State.

Indiana lost to Minnesota, which desperately needed the win to stop a monthlong slide. It's the second time this year the Hoosiers lost to a team in that situation. Illinois got off to a 2-7 start in league play before beating IU.

Duke lost Thursday night at Virginia, their second loss to a team outside the top 50 since Ryan Kelly got hurt. For now, that knocks the Blue Devils down to a 2-seed. Virginia has been added to the bubble and is among the first four out of the bracket.

Michigan lost to Penn State, which was 0-14 in conference play and had lost 18 straight Big Ten games going back to last year. The Wolverines have now lost four straight on the road and, given their remaining schedule, could be in danger of an even bigger fall.

There was turnover at the bottom of the bracket as well. Tennessee, which beat Florida and Kentucky move in, replacing Charlotte and UMass.

Looking at his bracket, UT is in as a 11 seed, and they aren't listed in the last 4 in. He also has Kentucky in a play-in game as a 12 seed and Miss as the first team out.

That has no impact on the current season.
If there was a close call to let Saint Mary' or another team dance on bubble this year ..just making contention their subjective assessment might be influenced by this
