It was like watching Alex Brown II. The coaching staff had no answer for him, or any of the pressure they were bringing all night. The staff disappointed tonight no where more than this aspect. No attempt to offset with TEs, nothing.

This team didn't give up like some of the Dooley-era teams that we had the misfortune of watching. If this o line wasn't so young and inexperienced then who knows what kind of game it would have been? My biggest issue is I wish they would attempt to run the ball outside more, this 2 yards up the middle isn't working and Hurd showed what he could do when he got around the edge. I look forward to the rest of the year and the improvement that is sure to come. Go Vols!!!

I hate to tell you but Herbstreit had great cause to "Blow" Striker. He was a man among boys tonight . Not all that strange to talk about someone who is dominating the game like he was . His coverage was well earned .

Not so sure that thats saying as much about him, or about how bad the O line played.

We were young when Dooley got here, and he sucked at coaching. Same situation with Jones, but I'm seeing improvement.

It must suck to be as miserable as you. The cupboard was bare when CBJ got here and it's going to take some time to turn things around. He is not responsible for the mistakes that were made before he got here. Every college analyst said we didn't have the personnel to hang with OU but they all say Jones is a good coach that's restocking our roster. Until he gets it stocked with the players he wants, we really don't know what he can do.
