The Official Tennessee @ South Carolina Game Thread, 1:00pm ET, FSS

Fairly unnecessary comment... I agree with him that things were better (much) under Pearl, but I'm glad they got the W

Martin is 3-0 now against USC, so what has changed? Pointless whining/intentionally forced in Pearl dickriding after we get a road W.

Wonder if trae's injury allowed him to rest his heavy legs. He looked fresh today. I will continue to question how we practice as I feel it wears our players down. I think he needs to reevaluate and give trae some rest.

Anyone who thinks that Golden wasn't missed in the Ark and UGA games just needs to look at his stat line today. Just shows how much the Debbie Downer clowns don't know.

I said I was happy to get the W given the circumstances... You were the one that started *****ing imo

Mcbee needed that badly. People give him hell and say he sucks. Well, he hit 2 big shots today to help keep a streak alive. Kindof wish I would have sucked bad enough to do the same.

Why can't SC be on the schedule twice?

Because Mizzou and A & M were added and there are no divisions anymore. They'll rotate twice on there some years. The only two constant teams we'll play twice every year is Ky and Vandy.

I have always contended that McBee must score at least 6-8 points for this team to win. This team has very few outside shooters, and as little as 2 three's a game helps.

I didn't get to see much of the game, but one small thing I noticed with about 8 minutes left. McBee got a rebound or steal at the top of the key with one USC defender back. He dumps it back and to his right to I think McRae who eventually draws the defender and gets it back to McBee who goes back to 3 point line. Why? Proper play is to take the ball in middle and draw defender and let McRae finish. Glad to get a win, but just don't think this team is very smart. Simple things can win games.

Didn't start anything. I mean, was I wrong?

My comment wasn't meant to be as negative as what you got from it, anyway I didn't think it warranted an "oh piss off". The BP days were fun, but they are over, and for this team a win is a win.

Wish we could go back to the BP days when a win over SC was a given, but on this day, and with this team (esp. being on the road) I'll take it.

Don't know why he got flak for that observation.

I bet nearly everyone here thought we were going to piss this game away.

Good game, guys. Had the game not been called as tightly as it was, you all would have won handily. Difficult for Stokes to get going when the officiating is so horrid.

I think we both have good coaches, and I think we both will (eventually) be pleased with the results yielded by our coaches.

Most definitely, South Carolina lucked out with Frank Martin. He'll have them competing very soon.

How exactly did USCe luck into Frank Martin? Why would he leave Kansas State? It's probably the better job, and the talent was good there (and still is). Did USCe offer him a lot of money?
