I heard that, too. It's astonishing that the commentators can't do basic research to prevent themselves from making stupid comments like that and sounding like total idiots.

A simple google search is all I needed to find that McBee is making only 32.3% of his threes this year. Not quite as 'easy as a layup.'

Currie used to be in UT's athletic dept. He's an idiot for getting sideways with Martin. He's trying to make a name for himself. Well, he just might. In a bad way. Martin will have USCjr competitive. The days of beating them every year is probably gone as long as Martin is there. I'll enjoy this one this year. Once Martin gets his system in place, they'll be much tougher.

The FSS and SEC network commentators are usually garbage...I remember last night one of them was saying after an armani rebound...oh yea we though Moore would get some run tonight....WTF? He's been starting, why is it a shock he's getting PT?

Don't ever underestimate the stupidity of a fan base. Most of the posters on here had no idea UT had a basketball team until Pearl arrived. If Martin is successful, there will be plenty of people who hop on the bandwagon that think they know all about how to coach a team.

I dont know about that man lol Although Green and Peterson sucked, they had teams in the tourney year in and year out. Yeah, we'd always flame out of the SEC tourney, but we did have some strong teams. Isiah Victor, Tony Harris, CJ Black, Vincent Yarbrough, Ronnie Slay, etc...those teams from 97-2001 were solid. Hell, we choked and lost to UNC to go to the sweet 16 in 2001! Of course we were more nationally known under Pearl, but I do believe most forget about that era of UT bball.
